Exercise and Fitness Exercising benefit all your body and should be done regularly at least three times a week and for at least 10-25 minutes every time.
Exercising benefit: your cardio vascular system, your immune system, your pulmonary system, your skeletal & muscular system, could decrease your chances for cancer, improve your mental health & well-being, improve migraine headache attacks, reduce anxiety levels & maintain bone mineral density. It decreases the chances of heart disease, stroke, increase insulin sensitivity, lower your BMI, and also help you lose fat weight.
This table shows how many minutes of exercise is necessary to use up 100 kcal=25 gm. of carbohydrate.
Running 8-10 min.
Skiing at a fast pace 8 min
Cycling 11 min
Swimming, skating 12 min
Gymnastics 15 min
Football, ice hockey 15 min
Tennis, fast walking 15-18 min
Gardening 20-25 min
Slow walking 25-30 min

Just For Women Check your height, weight and blood pressure regularly.
Do a pap smear every year for 3 years, and then every 3 years if normal.
Check your blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels every 5 years.
Check your fasting blood sugar every 3 years if you are 45 years or older.
Take the Tetanus-Diphteria vaccine every 10 years.
Do not smoke.
Get regular exercise and eat healthy food.

If my child does not eat well, should I worry? At 2 years of age, the child's growth slows down as compared to before. The number of calories needed decreases, and so does the amount of food intake.
