Beginning of the year 2000
In the beginning of the year 2000, several medical centers were established in
different areas in Greater
Beirut. Until now, the following centers are operating:
The main center, Tarik Al Jadidah Medical Center, provides Specialty Care, in
addition to Primary Health Care services. It is also a diagnostic center
providing the latest and most advanced laboratory tests and radiology services.
The other 6 centers are essentially satellite clinics providing only primary
health care services. Patients are referred from satellite centers to the main
center for specialist consultations, laboratory and X-ray services. All the
centers are linked together with the main center through a computer network.
